Written before the Pulitzer-Prize winning To Kill a Mockingbird, this sort-of-sequel depicts the racial tensions in the American South during the 1950s. “Scout” (Jean Louise) Finch, now an adult woman and living in New York City, returns home to Maycomb, Alabama for a two-week visit. Once there, she must come to terms with how her views on race complicate both love and loyalty.
