Summer Theology Book Club 2018

The Covenant Summer Book Club begins on Tuesday, July 31at 7:00 p.m. discussing a new book by Marcus Peter Rempel entitled Life at the End of Us vs Them: Cross Culture Stories. Rempel is a young new voice, raised in a Mennonite context, but now searching for new paradigm of faithful living in a changing world. Using the radical criticism of thinkers Rene Girard and Ivan Illich, Rempel asks searching questions of Christianity and culture in a rapidly changing landscape and finds new options living among those have so often seemed as "other." The book is available at CommonWord Bookstore at CMU and we will look at the book beginning this Tuesday for at least 2 sessions. We will meet at the Covenant Mennonite Church.
