Worship during a Pandemic

Over the past year our congregation, like every other, has adjusted to the realities of the Covid-19 pandemic. Our first response when the pandemic arrived was to record worship services on Saturday evenings to be posted to this website.

With the arrival of summer 2020, and the ability to gather outdoors, we worshipped on the church yard. This turned out to be a delightful pandemic “gift”, as these sun-baked worship times were much enjoyed.  Cooler fall weather forced us indoors, with some masked congregants gathering in the sanctuary, while others joined from home via Zoom. When Code Red restrictions arrived, our worship moved solely to Zoom, which is the case at present.  Each Sunday we gather virtually with much joy in seeing one another and visiting before and after the worship service. During worship, there is music, scripture reading, a children’s time, a sermon, and sharing and prayer.

The Spirit of God binds us together in love and spiritual growth, even over Zoom!
